Code Life : The Montreal General Hospital Foundation’s mission is to provide vital support for vital care. The Foundation is mandated to raise money, manage significant funds, and invest responsibly in healthcare research, training and technology at the Montreal General Hospital (MGH), the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and more broadly, within the McGill academic health network. We work in close partnership with donors and dedicated collaborators to raise awareness and foster excellence in vital care to all patients, present and future.
Code Life is our pledge to protect, heal, extend, and save life by means of leading-edge medical research and care. Code Life sums up our mission to provide vital support for vital care in a single meaningful phrase.
Founded in 1821, the MGH was the first non-denominational hospital in Montreal. Thanks to continuous support from the community, the hospital has developed into one of the leading healthcare institutions in the country.
The Board of Directors, a dedicated group representing our community, is responsible for establishing the direction of the Foundation and providing guidance and support to the fundraising efforts of the Foundation. The Board ensures that the MGHF meets its fundraising objectives and provides dedicated stewardship of donor gifts.
The Montreal General Hospital Foundation team is dedicated to ensuring the continued leadership of the MGH in providing excellence in patient care, teaching and research.
It is with pride and, above all, immense gratitude that we present you with our 2016-2017 Annual Report today. It marks the success of the Care at the Highest Level campaign, which has raised $20 million in support of various Montreal General Hospital (MGH) programs.
The Montreal General Hospital Foundation is dedicated to ensuring the continued leadership of the MGH in providing excellence in patient care, teaching and research.
