The Connexion Circle

"In 2018, a severe water-skiing accident changed my life. Stabilized at the MGH Trauma Unit, I received successful surgery and extensive rehabilitation from an incredible team. Today, I can enjoy life's pleasures again: teaching my son to ski, walking beaches with my wife, and water-skiing once more. To ensure this quality of care remains accessible to all in need, I joined the MGH Foundation's Connexion Circle."

"At 16, a serious car crash nearly claimed my life. Severe head trauma, hip and pelvis fractures, left-side paralysis, and a month-long coma followed. After multiple surgeries and countless therapy hours, I'm now in my third year of law at McGill. None of this would have been possible without the incredible MGH team. I'm proud to support the MGH Foundation, knowing it helps save lives like mine."

"The Montreal General Hospital Foundation to me is a beacon of hope in the most desolate times. I support the MGHF because they provided a sense of optimism and community when my family needed it most. When my grandfather was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, the MGHF became part of the family, so it was only fitting that I join the Connexion Circle."

I believe it’s very important that our generation supports this great hospital so that it’s there for us when we need it. "Coming from a family of athletes, we have had our fair share of injuries. Throughout the years, the doctors, nurses and staff at the Montreal General Hospital have been there to get us back on our feet and doing what we love as quickly as possible.
