You Walked, Ran, and Raised $222,300 for Mental Health, Thank You!

June 8, a record number of 2368 members of our community gathered at Parc Maisonneuve to run, walk, and connect for mental health at the 11th edition of the Pharmaprix Run for Women. Together, we raised more than $222,300 for this important cause, surpassing our fundraising goal, thanks to you!
Once again, funds raised for the Montreal edition of this Canada-wide event are donated to the Montreal General Hospital Foundation (MGHF) to improve access to mental health services and resources for women and the entire community. For over a decade, the Pharmaprix Run for Women has supported mental health programs at the Montreal General Hospital (MGH) and the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) with a focus on important initiatives of the Mental Health Mission.

“The Pharmaprix Run for Women is a fabulous event: a fun-filled morning that combines community and exercise and supports our collective mental health,” says Dr. Karine Igartúa, Psychiatrist-in-Chief, MUHC. “Your participation directly impacts the quality and breadth of services offered at the MUHC. On behalf of myself and the Montreal General Hospital Foundation’s team, thank you for making a difference.”
Your Support, Your Impact
Through care that integrates the expertise of psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, social workers, and nurses, women and their families move from mental illness to health.
For every registration to the Pharmaprix Run for Women, $5 is donated to the MGHF, and our community stepped up to raise even more funds for mental health!
