An innovative treatment for depression
Steve has been through three major depressive episodes in his life, followed by periods of relative stability. Last year, depression hit again and it hit hard. That’s what pushed him to get the help of specialists at the Montreal General Hospital. Thanks to rTMS treatments, which used state of the art equipment supported by Bell Let’s Talk in 2018, Steve was able to overcome his challenge. Read his story

Awards and Recognitions

MGH Researchers Among Recipients of a Major Grant
Dr. Lorenzo Ferri and researcher Veena Sangwan are part of the multidisciplinary and multinational team that was recently selected for funding through Cancer Research UK’s (CRUK) Grand Challenge competition. They have been awarded a 20-million-British-pound grant, which they will use to explore the links between chronic inflammation and cancer. Course pour les Femmes on June 15, 2019 at Parc Maisonneuve. No need to be a woman or to be particularly athletic to participate! A 1k route has even been planned for kids.
